Lighting Control Systems and Dimmers This is one of the newer products that Inara provides to its customers. Lighting control systems and dimmers give you the ability to control the amount of lighting that a light fixture or lamp produces. This gives you the ability to set the atmosphere according to your mood or a specific occasion. Our sales engineers have extensive technical knowledge of these systems backed with the long experience of Lutron who has been producing dimmers and control systems for more than 35 years. Main benefits: Energy Conservation: by controlling your lighting you need not always have them on at the full capacity. Therefore, by reducing the amount of light in a specific area you consume lees electricity than if you merely have the lights on. Extend lamp life: when you reduce the amount of light that a lamp is required to produce you put less stress on the light which in turn does not deplete the lamps life expectancy. The products available range from manual wall box dimmers to complete integrated control systems. The wall box dimmers work like any conventional light switch but they have a lever for increasing or decreasing the amount of light omitted from the light fixture.
